Keerthana (keertana) meaning praise. keerthana similar to devotional song. Many poets are written keerthanas in Telugu. The famous and well know telugu keerthanas are Annamayya and Sriramadhasu. In Annamayya keerthanas, many are dedicated to Lord Balaji (Govindha). We can also observe this keerthanas Govindha sritha and Edukondala swamy etc,.
