Few Hindu Gods and Goddesses

Hindu Religion has many gods and goddess. Many devotees worship these gods and goddesses everyday. In these gods God Vishnu has 10 avathars.

According to few Hindu mythology books, Goddess Mahasakthi is primary Goddess. Maha nearly mean high and Sakthi mean energy. Lakshmi and Saraswathi and Parvathi are well know goddess. In few scriptures Lakshmi has few avatars such as seeta, satyabhama, Mangadevi etc,. and Goddess Saraswathi is wife of god Brahma, Goddess Lakshmi is wife of god Mahavishnu and Parvathi is wife of god Siva.

There are another Hindu goddesses apart from the following list such as Ganga and Yamuna and kaaveri etc,. These goddess worshiped by many devotees in Hindu religion. Eight goddess Lakshmi called as goddess Ashtalakshmi. In Hindu religion few major gods and goddess list is below.
